ARIZONA
Edupoint was awarded a competitive contract in 2014 to provide a Statewide Student Information System (SSIS) to the state of Arizona by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE).
The SSIS provided local education agencies throughout Arizona with extensive student management functionality and seamless integration with other ADE systems, as well as world-class scheduling, gradebook, and family engagement capabilities. Edupoint continues to serve more than 625,000 students across the state, including the two largest districts, Mesa Public Schools and Tucson Unified School District.
MAINE
Maine Department of Education selected Synergy for States to provide a State-Level Student Information & Reporting System (SSIRS).
As the sole award recipient from a field of seven competitive bidders, the Synergy State solution replaced the state’s existing Infinite Campus State Edition with a scalable student information database to aggregate data from all school administrative units (SAUs), collecting data on Maine’s 180,000 students for state and federal reporting mandated by the state’s Department of Education.
The Synergy State solution provides Maine with a centralized database that connects SAU local data systems with the state’s student data collection process, improving overall reporting functionality and the quality and accuracy of student data.
OREGON
Synergy is the SIS partner for the Oregon Student Information System Consortium (OSIS).
Members of the OSIS Consortium represent almost 500,000 students across the state. OSIS members began working together on selecting a common student information system (SIS) to meet the evolving needs of all ESDs and school districts, large and small, throughout the state.
Led by a steering committee consisting of members from Salem-Keizer School District, Multnomah Educational Service District (ESD), Northwest Regional ESD, Portland Public Schools, and Eugene School District, OSIS worked in conjunction with subcommittee members from school districts and ESDs across the state, as well as the Oregon Department of Education. The selection process of a common SIS was a collaborative effort, with participation from more than 350 support and school office staff, and over 950 instructional staff from districts and ESDs throughout Oregon. After an extensive national search, Synergy SIS from Edupoint was unanimously selected.
Synergy now serves 90% of K-12 students in Oregon.
TENNESSEE
Tennessee Department of Education selected Edupoint as an approved Student Information System (SIS) provider.
Edupoint is one of five approved vendors providing student information management solutions to Tennessee school districts via the state’s cloud delivery data center. Synergy serves more than 120,000 students in 37 districts across the state.
