Edupoint Launches Online Synergy Community for Partner Districts

Edupoint® Educational Systems, creator of the industry-leading Synergy® Education Platform for K-12 student information and learning management, has launched Synergy Community, a free  meeting place for 24/7 peer-to-peer support in a secure online environment. Synergy Community adds another layer to Edupoint’s existing support offerings, enabling Synergy partner districts to work closely with one another anytime and anywhere to share thoughts, ideas, and solutions related to using the Synergy platform and achieving education goals.

Synergy Community users can search existing discussions, ask and answer questions, and exchange knowledge and expertise with other users based on a self-selected role or roles, including Classroom Teacher, Application Developer, and Administrator. Synergy partner districts may use Synergy Community on an ad hoc basis or may choose to build more formal personal learning networks (PLNs) within the community. Intuitive features such as the ability to favorite, rate, and follow conversations enhance the user experience.

“As a meeting place for peer-to-peer communication, Synergy Community enables users to connect with other Synergy users who have similar goals and challenges and assist one another in ways that only educators can,” says Rob Wilson, President and Chief Innovation Officer for Edupoint. “We are pleased to provide this dynamic new offering and excited about the opportunities it has created for our partner districts.”
